Lo! God showed them to thee in a dream as few: for, had He shown them to you as many, you would surely have lost heart, and would surely have disagreed with one another about what to do. But God saved [you from this]: verily, He has full knowledge of what is the hearts [of men]
When Allah showed them unto thee (O Muhammad) in thy dream as few in number, and if He had shown them to thee as many, ye (Muslims) would have faltered and would have quarrelled over the affair. But Allah saved (you). Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men)
Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts
When Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many you would certainly have become weak-hearted and you would have disputed about the matter, but Allah saved (you); surely He is the Knower of what is in the breasts
God showed them to you in your dream as small in number. If He had shown them to you as many, you would have lost heart and disputed about the matter; but God saved you. He has full knowledge of what is in the human heart
Mention when God causes thee to see them as few in thy slumbering. If He caused thee to see them as many, you would have lost heart and contended with one another about the command except God saved you. Truly, He is Knowing of what is in the breasts.
When God pointed them out to you as a few in your dream, you (all) would have felt discouraged and debated the matter even if He had shown you that they were many; but God kept things safely in hand. He is Aware of whatever is on your minds.
˹Remember, O Prophet,˺ when Allah showed them in your dream as few in number. Had He shown them to you as many, you ˹believers˺ would have certainly faltered and disputed in the matter. But Allah spared you ˹from that˺. Surely He knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart.
God made them to appear as few in your dream: had He made them appear as many, you would have lost heart and would have disagreed with one another about what to do. It is God who saved you from this. He fully knows the secrets of the hearts.
(And remember) when Allah showed them to you (Muhammad) as few in numbers in your dream; if He had shown them to you as many in number, you would surely have been discouraged and you would surely have disputed in making a decision. But Allah saved you. Certainly, He is All-Knower of what is in the hearts.
[Remember] when God showed them in thy dream as being few. And hadst thou seen them as being many, you would have surely faltered and quarreled over the matter. But God delivered [you]. Truly He knows what lies within breasts

(Recall) when in your dream, Allah showed them to you few in number. And if He had shown them to you many in number, you would have been demoralized and would have disputed in the matter, but Allah saved (you). Surely, Allah is fully aware of what lies in the hearts

And you would have disputed among yourselves whether to fight them at Badr was a good idea. But Allah saved you believers from faltering. He knew the resolve in your hearts
(And remember) in your dream Allah showed them (the enemy) to you as few (men) if He had shown them to you as many (men); you would surely have lost your courage and you would surely have argued (your) decision. But Allah saved (you): Surely, He knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts
[Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts

When (O' Beloved Prophet) Allah showed the infidels few to you in your dream. And (O' Muslims) if He had shown them numerous then, certainly you would have shown timidity and would have quarrelled about the matter, but Allah saved you Undoubtedly, He knows the thoughts in the breasts.

Allah O Muhammad -in His infinite mercy has presented to your mind in your sleep the troops of the infidels as being some few- at the psychologically appropriate moment in which your minds were in actual expectation of war to happen. Had He presented them to you in your vision as being multitudinous you would have been smitten with mental anguish and dismay and you would have fallen into dispute, but Allah saved the situation; He is 'Alimun of all that is brewed secretly in the breasts
And (remember) when Allah showed them less in your dream, and had He showed them numerous you would have become weak hearted and you would have disputed about the affair, but Allah kept you safe, He is certainly the Knower of that which is in the hearts,
